Impact Statement

We organise and host GCSE revision Courses during Easter Holidays, which are available for our pupils as well as children from other local schools. Feedback has proven these courses to have a positive impact on the children's confidence and exam results. we also host a Holiday Club both at Easter and during the Summer Holidays, whereby children can enjoy supervised activities throughout the day. Additionally, year 5 children from the local area are invited to our Roman Taster Day sessions which offers fun curriculum based learning. Babington House School is one of the host schools for the Bromley Festival of Music & Speech each, children from schools throughout the Borough of Bromley attend and participate in this competition. Participation in this activity gives pupils a greater appreciation on other pupils abilities and boast confidence to see other appreciate their abilities. We have also hosted Royal School of Music Examinations.

Our children regularly visit other schools both state and independent schools to participate in sporting competitions which helps improve confidence, teamwork and leadership skills as well as improving social skills.

Although none of these activities are measurable using MTQ48 or SCI-2 they do have a positive impact on our children giving them the opportunity to mix with a wider range of children with varying sporting and academic abilities.
