Impact Statement

State school pupils benefit from use of our facilities,the expertise of our coachingand academic staff and pupils volunteering. They gain use of facilities they would not otherwise be able to use, such as science labs and astroturf, as well as their teachers gaining CPD opportunities.

Social cohesion within the area has improved with WGS pupils gaining the opportunity to mix with other types of pupil. Teachers gain valuable experience as do those from visiting schools. Pupils gain opportunities to play fixtures that would not have taken place otherwise and use enhanced facilities.

Pupils from WGS and visiting schools have developed their social and cooperative skills and increased in confidence.
