Impact Statement
We organised and hosted the football McCarthy Cup Competitions for girls this year. The event involved 10-12 teams of 7 children (therefore approximately 70-84 children). We provided the administration, pitches/grounds and refreshments for the event, for the participating children and supporters. The impact is that the competition can continue as we have the facilities to host the competition and all participating teams have the opportunity to advance through the stages and win the trophy. We took part in the Dover and District football league, which involves about 10 teams of 7 children for both boys and girls (140 children in all). We provide administration, pitches/grounds and refreshments for our home matches. The impact is that the league is able to take place for both boys and girls, enabling the children to participate in these matches regularly through the entire season, culminating in a winner of the league.
We organised and hosted ABRSM Music examinations. We provided the administration, examination room and piano for accompanying, in addition to booking the examiner. The impact is that children do not have to travel long distances to participate in their examinations.
Our teachers attend Kent CPD training courses with colleagues in state schools, for a variety of different subject matter. The impact is that our staff and staff in state schools are able to meet and share knowledge and experience.
