Impact Statement

Our Early Years and KS1 departments have links with local state schools providing opportunities for staff to develop their knowledge and practice.

Our qualified Forest School Leaders have worked closely with the local state school to help develop and enhance outdoor education and learning opportunities.

We host a Music Workshop Day inviting eight local state schools to attend. This provides pupils with the opportunity to take part in three music workshops in choral singing, percussion and strings, resulting in a concert for parents and carers at the end of the day. Pupils and staff gain experience and knowledge from the music sessions led by specialist Music teachers and the opportunity of making music together.

Our Director of Sport regularly holds holiday sports courses which local state school pupils are welcome to attend. He also invites local state schools to attend regular sports fixtures and festivals giving the attending pupils the opportunity to work with specialist sports staff and compete in competitive sport.

We have linked with a local state school to provide a specialist sports teacher to run training sessions with both their pupils and ours. This gives both the pupils and staff the opportunity to gain experience and knowledge of various sports from a specialist teacher.

We partnership with the Buckinghamshire Learning Trust for the training of our NQTs. This gives the NQTs the opportunity to gain knowledge and experience through regular meetings, training sessions and visits to local state schools.

One of our Phase Leaders is a Governor of a local state school. She attends regular meetings and provides advice and support on educational matters.
