Impact Statement

Impact statement:

· Our Sixth Form pupils volunteer to read with younger pupils at local primary schools

· Our Science Dept hosted a TeachMeet for teachers and technicians from schools across Gloucestershire, allowing them to network, share ideas and see demonstrations from suppliers of equipment and resources

· Our Science dept hosted our Annual Primary Schools Science Challenge event, which this year involved Year 6 pupils designing wind turbines. Our STEAM Committee of parents, staff and pupils supported the Primary School pupils.

· Our Sports dept hosted Masterclass events in Rugby and Cricket for Primary pupils, in association with the RFU and Gloucester RFU for rugby, as well as using our own female pupils to coach the younger visiting pupils in Girls’ cricket.

· We offer regular Saturday morning workshops to local Primary pupils in subjects such as Drama, History and DT.
