40forCF

Our Moorlanders were challenged to do '40 for CF' to raise funds for the Cystic Fibrosis Trust. 

Aims

To raise funds for the Cystic Fibrosis Trust and awareness of the disorder. 

Background

A member of the Moorlands' staff has a daughter with the disorder and asked if the school would support her raising funds and combined the challenge with her 40th birthday.  

Resources

Pupils were challenged to do '40' of different activities, such as 'space-hopping' around The Green 40 times.  They were sponsored for all of these activities.

Impact

A significant amount of money - over £2,000 - was raised for the Cystic Fibrosis Trust. 

Pupil Involvement

All pupils from Reception to Year 6 were involved.
