Aims of the project
The aim of the project is to support schools to deliver high quality teaching in Computer Science and ICT, by sharing resources, ideas, good practice and exemplar work.
Background and goals
The project came about in 2015, following changes to the Computer Science and ICT curriculum.
Head of Curriculum ICT and Computing at Pocklington School attended weekly sessions at Manor School to gain information and resources to assist with delivery of Computer Science curriculum at Pocklington School.
Pocklington School Head of ICT and Computing then assisted Manor School with their ICT GCSE delivery, as the two schools used the same exam board.
Fulford School, as a lead school in Computer Science, also support Pocklington School.
From January 2018, Pocklington School will be providing support to other schools via the Computing at School hub.
