Year 6 girls hold a series of coaching sessions and a training game to enable Severndale to participate in a Primary Schools netball tournament, which is held at Prestfelde School.

Aims of the project

To be able to plan and deliver the coaching sessions.

To be able to evaluate each coaching session to improve the next one.

To be able to develop empathy and understanding of inclusion.

To be able to adapt their plans for less able/ disabled students of the same age.

For the children at Severndale to learn a new sport.

To offer the expertise of netball coaches from Prestfelde to support Severndale teachers.

Background and goals

To develop the already established links between the two schools to benefit all.
