Alleyn's Clubhouse football pitches were offered to a local community interest group in Southwark. The football pitches were used for an afternoon of competitions and trials for children aged between 11 and 13. The afternoon was available to all children in the Southwark borough on a pay-what-you-can basis.
The winners from these trials and competitions got the chance to represent the BiG Elite team against AFC Wimbledon Academy.
This exciting community event provided the opportunity for young people to participate in and grace the Champion Hill Stadium pitch and take part in a mascot programme where children were able to walk out on the pitch with some old and new stars and take part in half -time and post-match entertainments.
