Academic Mentoring at IntoUniversity W11 (The Clement James Centre)

Latymer Lower Sixth volunteers work weekly as academic mentors with primary school children at the Hammersmith W14 and North Kensington W11 centres.
The volunteers assist IntoUniversity staff, and volunteer tutors, with academic support sessions. This includes:
- Supporting students in a one-to-one capacity in a supervised group.
- Directing pupils' attention towards the adult leading the academic support session and assisting with academic support evaluations.
Students from Latymer are 16-17 years old and they assist with primary school pupils.
Frequency and duration
LUS students work weekly after school from 4.15-5.30pm.
