Nicky Morgan opens new classroom block at King's College School, Wimbledon

After nearly 200 years, King’s College School, Wimbledon, will be opening the doors of its senior school to boys from local primary schools. The Secretary of State for Education, the Rt Hon Nicky Morgan, opened the new classrooms and hall earlier this month for the new 11+ entry at King’s College School, Wimbledon.

Nicky gave the following quote in relation to partnerships:

During my visit to officially open the new building, I had the opportunity to hear about the wonderful work that King’s is doing to break down barriers by sharing their great teaching, facilities and expertise with pupils from local schools. This partnership exemplifies the type of close collaboration we need across the country as part of our commitment to achieve educational excellence everywhere.”
