Y6-Y7 Transition Visit

A visit to meet all of the boys who are joining the school in Y7 - including an interview with the boy and with their class teacher.

Aims

To ensure that the boys feel comfortable joining Stamford School and to ensure we have enough information to place them in the best form group with like minded boys.

Background

This has always been a part of the Head of Year 7 role.

Impact

This is done once a year and the information gathered on the boys helps with forming and establishing friendship groups in Year 7.
