Use of School's Sports Fields by Formby CC

During the cricket season, Formby CC use our pitches, primarily for their 3rd XI, to play fixtures.

Aims

To provide facilities for local cricketers to be able to play matches.

Background

A number of boys and staff at the school play at Formby CC and a good relationship has been developed. The school was approached to see if we were able to provide faciltiies and we were pleased to be able to help.

Resources

Grounstaff and equipment are needed to prepapre the pitches.

Pupil Involvement

The cricket teams that play on the pitches involve a nunmber of teenage players who are learning the game.

Frequency

Saturday afternoons through late-May to early-July
