Upton Bay Care Home
Sixth Form pupils, some of whom are considering a medical career, spend two hours every Monday afternoon, talking to and helping residents. They organise activities that stimulate the residents, as well as simply talking to them.
Aims
Both pupils and residents benefit from the visits.
Resources
Pupils are driven to the Care Home and left under the supervision of staff there.
