Stamford School Y6-7 Transition Visits (St Augustines Catholic Voluntary Academy)

Visit to meet all of the boys who are joining the school in Y7 - interview with the boys and with their class teacher.

Aims

To ensure the boys feel comfortable joining Stamford School and to ensure we have enough information to place them in the best form group with like-minded boys.

Background

Has always been part of the HoY7 role.

Impact

This is done once a year and the information gathered on the boys helps with forming and establishing friendship groups in Year 7.
