St Gabriel's /Falkland Outreach Latin

Outreach Latin and Classical Civilisation lessons delivered by St Gabriel's Head of Classics, to Year 5 pupils in Falkland - five to six sessions delivered throughout the academic year.

Aims

• To provide academic enrichment for pupils in our local feeder primary school community.
• To enthuse young learners about the classical world and the value of learning Latin
• To share teacher's expertise with our local feeder primary school community.

Background

The Head of Classics at St Gabriel's offered to share his time and expertise. He is passionate about his subject and is keen to share his knowledge and enthusiasm with children of all ages.

Resources

Curriculum time for teacher delivering lessons - one hour, five to six times per academic year.

Ongoing from one academic year to the next. For as long as the Primary School wishes.
