Science partnership

A total of 22 pupils benefitted from this partnership in which they experienced a range of experiments spanning the subjects of Chemistry, Biology and Physics, whilst supported by their mentors (St Mary’s pupils from years 9-13).

Resources

Pupils are collected from their primary school and brought to St Mary's so that they can use the science labs for their projects.

Frequency

The Shirley Community Primary School pupils attended a series of eight sessions, every fortnight from November 2018 to March 2019.  

Pupils were surveyed before and after the programme to assess the impact of the sessions and to inform the content of next year's outreach programme
