Primary Schools Sports Festivals
The Oratory has provided local primary schools with regular sports festivals throughout the past year with both boys and girls tournaments in Tag Rugby and Football as well as a Cross Country event.

To encourage the provision of sport in primary schools.
To offer opportunities of competition in a safe and friendly environment.
To provide opportunities of pupil leadership.
Background
The Oratory School has run these events for many years.
Resources
Use of pitches and equipment for Tag Rugby and Football.
Full use of our grounds for the cross country route.
Oratory School staff and pupils.
A minibus to and from the event is also offered.
Refreshments/Lunch provided.
Pupil Involvement
Oratory School pupils were referees and offered a skills session for the tag rugby event. Approximately 5 Sixth Form pupils.
There were 4 Oratory School pupils (boys and girls) at the football events as referees.
For the cross country event, Oratory School pupils from a range of year groups were involved as hare runners, course marshal and finishing stewards. Approximately 25 pupils in total.
Frequency
All events are run on an annual basis and are ongoing.
