Music Scholars lead a Music Assembly

Our Music Scholars went to Queensway Primary School to lead a special assembly all about music and playing instruments. 

Aims

The aim of this event was two fold, firstly to educate the children at Queensway school about instruments and secondly to give the IIIs scholars a chance to lead an assembly and hone their presentation skills. 

Background

There is a long standing link with Queensway school and we undertake regular activities at the school, which benefits both Queensway and Tudor Hall. 

Resources

The scholars took their own instruments to play and gave up their time to perform and speak with the children. The assembly was delivered at Queensway School making it accessible for all the children. 

Impact

It is hoped that as a result of the assembly more children will be inspired to learn a musical instrument.

All pupils from the school were involved in the assembly.
