Link Age Southwark AGM and Volunteer Awards

Local charity Link Age Southwark hosted their AGM and volunteer awards at Alleyn's.

In October 2018, Link Age hosted an evening event at Alleyn's, celebrating 25 years working in the community and acknowledging the hard work of their volunteers.

 

Resources

A reception took place in the adjoining Atrium, before the AGM and awards in the theatre. All venues were hired free of charge.

Alleyn's event staff helped plan the event with the charity coordinators, site visits and meetings before the event ensured the evening set up and event ran smoothly.  Alleyn's event staff and techncial staff worked during the evening, helping where required.

Impact

The charity wanted to celebrate the work of their volunteers in a special environment. They required a large theatre space and reception venue in order to make this event work, at minimal cost to the charity.
