King's House School Eco Day 2013 (Belmont Primary School)
An interactive event to enable children to develop an understanding of their role as members of both the local and global community in which they live. This also involved Lowther Primary School, Barnes; Isleworth Town Primary School, Isleworth; Orchard House School and Southville Junior School, Feltham.
Interactive attractions included:
Meeting and handling threatened wildlife and species.
Smoothie Bike promoting a healthy lifestyle.
Football and ten bin bowling with balls made out of recycled plastic bags.
Building a wildlife stack.
Tree and seed planting including ‘grass heads’.
Easter Egg hunt.
Music and singing.
Games about food air miles.
