Jumper Shop
In the run up to Christmas, an appeal went out for pre loved woolly jumpers for The Pupil Council to sell in school with proceeds being split between the FPTA and Shelter.
Aims
The aim was for Pupil conical to both recycle unwanted clothing and raise money.
Background
The pupil council thought of the idea and a member of the teaching staff assisted.
Resources
The stall was set up in school and open before and after school and run by Pupil Council. We even had a visit from Local Officer Rob.
Impact
£47.00 was raised for the two charities.
Pupil Involvement
Pupils aged 8-11 were involved and the whole school had the opportunity to donate and / or purchase jumpers.
Frequency
this was a one off event which may be repeated next year.
