Intensive Swimming Lessons - Bessemer Grange Primary School

Bessemer Grange Primary School in Herne Hill returned to Alleyn’s in July 2018, for a week of intensive swimming lessons for their pupils.

Resources

The local School hired the pool for three hours each morning over five days. Three swimming teachers and one lifeguard were assigned to each session. Staff were charged at cost price, ensuring a minimal cost to the School. The swimming pool was hired free of charge.

Impact

The teachers noted a vast improvement in the swimming ability of the children by the end of the week.

 

Frequency

Bessemer Grange will return to Alleyn's for intensive swimming lessons in 2019.
