Hospital Placements

MCS pupils provide support on Reception and with administrative tasks. They escort patients to appointments and professional visitors to the Trust offices, carry out office duties and provide activities for patients on wards.

Aims

Help both the staff with the running of the hositals and to help keep the patients they interact with more postive and comfortable.

Impact

Impact is assessed at the end of each year by both staff at MCS and the hospitals, and by the pupils themselves.

Pupil Involvement

MCS pupils aged between 16 and 17.

Frequency

The students visit the hospitals on a weekly basis
