Hospital Art Projects

Sixth Form artists produce artwork designed for local hospital settings, aiming to reduce stress and provide visual stimulation for patients.

Aims

The art provides a sense of calm and interest for patients who are suffering and stressed - eg in wards, diagnosis rooms, etc.

Resources

School resources in terms of cameras, paint, etc.,staff and student time

Impact

The impact of this project on the pupils is measured by themselves in feedback forms. The impact on the patients and staff is given in feedback from staff at the hospitals and the Oxford Hospitals Charity.

This project is an ongoing project which produces one new piece of art designed for a specific space every year.
