Heathlands School

Two 6th form pupils offer classroom assistance for two hours every Monday afternoon throughout the year. Tasks will include reading to the children, individual help with English or maths, and general help to the teacher in charge of the group.

Background

Canford offered extra help. Heathlands was already well known to Canfrod through the Shine project.

Resources

A Canford teacher drives the pupils to Heathlands, but does not stay.

Pupil Involvement

Only 6th form pupils are used, of either gender.

Frequency
