Harvest Festival 2019

The Froebelian School celebrates harvest every year with a collection of provisions for The Horsforth Live at Home Scheme and a financial donation towards the school charity of the year - which this year is Yorkshire Air Ambulance.

 

Aims

The aim is to give thanks for the food we have and our Year 4 pupils perform an assembly for the whole school community.

The immediate beneficiaries are local vulnerable people and the charity Yorkshire Air Ambulance.

 

Background

This is an annual event and has been for decades.

Resources

The school facilities are used and the whole school community is involved.

The whole school is involved.

Impact

£688 was raised for Yorkshire Air Ambulance and a substantial amount of food was collected for The Horsforth Live at Home Scheme.

Pupil Involvement

All pupils aged 3-11 years are involved.
