Governorship in local schools

A matron is a Parent Governor at this local school where she has particular responsibility in the areas of marketing and e-safety.

Aims

 

The aim of governorship is to provide support to local schools by the provision of relevant skills, expertise and experience.  For the individuals concerned it is also an opportunity to give something back to our local community.

Background

 

Connections have been made with partner schools and also through local contacts.  

Frequency

 

This is an on-going commitment which requires regular attendance on a termly basis, throughout the tenure of the post.
