Governorship in local schools

A Mathematics teacher who is also Head of Scholarship is a governor at this local state secondary school.

Aims

The aim of governorship is to provide support to local schools by the provision of relevant skills, expertise and experience.  For the individuals concerned it is also an opportunity to give something back to our local community.

Connections have been made with The Gryphon through academic partnership and through local contacts.

Frequency

This is an on-going commitment which requires regular attendance on a termly basis, throughout the tenure of the post.
