Children from Hollybush Primary School enjoyed a morning 'Fun Swim' opportunity.

Background

The Head Teacher met with local state school Head Teachers and offered the use of the pool during the meeting.

We have historic sporting links with Hollybush.

Resources

The children from Hollybush used the pool, changing and toilet facilities here at school. They stayed for a picnic lunch within the school grounds under canvas gazebo shelters.

32 Year 5 children stayed for approximately 2 hours.

There was no cost implication to Hollybush Primary School. 

 

Impact

The children from Hollybush enjoyed the session (see above quote form staff leader).
