Interactive event to enable children to develop an understanding of their role as members of both the local and global community in which they live

 

 

 

Interactive attractions included:

 

 

 

Meeting and handling threatened wildlife and species.

 

Football sessions with balls made out of recycled plastic bags.

 

Creating a greenhouse out of recycled plastic bottles.

 

Building bird houses out of recycled materials.

 

Planting of trees and saplings.

 

Games about food air miles.
