Dance Platform March 2019

Edgbaston High School for Girls hosted a Dance Platform event on March 18th 2019.

Stratford Upon Avon School were invited to perform and share chereography amongst a number of Independent and State Secondary Schools.

The Stratford Upon Avon School performed their Big Band Jazz number.

Aims

Edgbaston High School for Girls hosted a Dance Platform event in March 2019.

Statford Upon Avon School performed and share chereogpraphy amongst a number of Independent and State Secondary Schools.

Pupils and Teachers will share expertise and a performance arena.

 

 

 

 

 

Background

This partnership is based on the links between Dance Teachers of Edgbaston High School and Stratford Upon Avon School. The event on 18th March 2019 will be the first of its kind to be hosted at Edgbaston High School.

 

 

Resources

EHS will provide all the school facilities, venue and the event management for the performance opportunity.

Impact

We hope this event will be a real success, we hope to invite local state primary schools to come and watch the dance show

The event will include EHS pupils in year 7-13  and girls (in year 7-11) from Stratford Upon Avon School.
