Chiswick School Partnership

King's House School work in partnership with Chiswick School, a local state 11-18 secondary school. Students from Chiswick School are able to access the facilities at King's House Sports Ground for free throughout the school year for lessons, after school clubs, fixtures and Sports Days.

A particular success this year is the introduction of Girls Football at the school. Students train and play on the 3G pitch at KHSG on Wednesday evenings. 

Planned future activities include Key Stage 2 to 3 transition sessions for new starters and leavers events.

To provide students at Chiswick School with access to first class sporting facilities.

Background

Chiswick School are a local state school located five minutes' walk away. The school have excellent indoor sports facilities but are limited by outdoor space. The partnership allows Chiswick School to opportunity to use high quality outdoor facilities and to offer more activities at any one time that would normally be possible at the school.

Impact

Girls Wednesday Football has been very successful and the 3G pitch offer has helped increase participant numbers.
