BGS Award

The BGS Award is open to all Year 6 children and aims to develop independence, life skills, teamwork and responsibility through a series of exciting challenges geared to help prepare them for their move to secondary school. The award is divided into six sections - Service, Independent Living, Safety, Skills, Physical, and Expedition.

Aims

The Service section is designed for the children to give service in the local community. The Y6 BGS Award, as part of the service aspect of the award have once again seen all of our Y6’s helping in the local community, bag packing at Morrison’s in Ripon in aid of Yorkshire Cancer.
