Art work on a school building
Tudor Hall pupils, studying Art A level, spent time at William Morris decorating one of the school buildings with some of their art work. It was designed to brighten up an otherwise drab and uninspiring building.
The aim of the project is to strengthen the bonds between Tudor Hall and William Morris, to provide support and to enable the students of Tudor Hall to particpate more fully in the Banbury community.
A member of the senior management team at Tudor Hall is a governor at William Morris school. This was one opportunity for partnering that was disucssed and implemented.
Teaching staff used and art materials provided.
A statement from William Morris School said that, 'the art work that the Tudor Hall art department carried out on a one of our school buildings is superb! The building is no longer an eye-sore and the children thoroughly enjoyed being involved in its development.'
The students who volunteer are between the ages of 16-18 and they assist with all age ranges at William Morris School.
