Art Competition with local schools

Pupils from local primary schools are invited each year to take part in a Year 5 Art Competition. The pupils get to showcase their creative designs which are produced by using a range of media and techniques.

Background

Pupils from local primary schools are invited each year to take part in a Year 5 Art Competition. The pupils get to showcase their high quality of the work created by using a range of media and techniques. A total of 17 schools and 119 pupils took part in the Art Competition.

Resources

The pupils showcase their art work in the Main Hall at Stockport Grammar School. The competition is sponsored by Brewin Dolphin, a leading wealth management firm.

Pupil Involvement

Pupils in Year 5 at local primary schools are invited to attend the event.

Frequency

This competition takes place annually during the Spring Term.
